Custom Mantle

Oops, I forgot to take a picture before demo.  Picture this - 1,000 lbs of solid stone in only 3 pieces!!!! Somehow we made it out without damaging anything.  The best part of our job is when a client provides you with some pictures and trusts you to build something that they'll love.  That's what we did here.  We cut back the existing wainscot to give us these 10" wide columns and a new arched panel rail.  While our client originally wanted a 6" tall mantle top, we determined it would not work with the aesthetic of the rest of the home and they could not have been happier!
